Race Report: Amsterdam Marathon 2016

Race Report: Amsterdam Marathon 2016

The TCS Amsterdam Marathon 2016 was on last Sunday, it was my third marathon, as painful as ever, but a big improvement and a highly satisfying PB. I signed up because I was looking for a run in October and had heard good things about the race - well organised, a nice route, great city, and flat, not surprising given the landscape of Holland, but what you want when you are trying to run a PB!

Race Report: Lidingöloppet

Last weekend was the Lidingöloppet, which promotes itself as the worlds largest cross country race. I had never run a 30 km race, or a trail race this long, so wasn't really sure what time to aim for. My plan was to just run for fun and see how it felt.

Race Report: Stockholm Midnattsloppet 2016

Last Saturday was the most popular run in Stockholm, the Midnattsloppet (Midnight Run). With a party like atmosphere it is a fun race to run, but I thought it would also be a good opportunity to test out my fitness level coming into the autumn. So how did it go?

How I took 2 minutes off my 10 km PB run time, and it´s a dirty word...

At the end of 2015, a year where I was plagued with running-related injuries, I decided that I should start to think about other forms of training, ones that might ease the impact on my body, and especially on my knees. Should I get back into gym training, something I used to do a lot of in my early 20´s, or try something different, something new?!
